Something New is Coming
A New Trinity Campus Is Coming to Hoover
Something new is taking shape in Hoover and we’re grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside this community.
Trinity United Methodist Church is launching a new campus in Hoover, creating new space for worship, connection, and service in one of the fastest-growing areas of our state. This new campus represents a fresh beginning that is rooted in Trinity’s mission, shaped by the needs of this community, and focused on helping people grow closer to Christ.

Hey Neighbor!
Trinity’s mission has always been rooted in sharing the good news of Christ and loving our neighbors well. This new season of ministry in Hoover allows us to do just that by meeting people where they are and creating space for faith to grow.
- Hoover is a rapidly growing area with families, schools, and neighborhoods seeking connection and community.
- More than 80 Trinity households already live within a few miles of this campus.
- Our existing campuses are growing, and a new campus allows us to expand ministry responsibly and sustainably.
This new campus isn’t just about space—it’s about people, relationships, and new ministry possibilities.
A Fresh Start for Ministry in Hoover
The new Trinity Hoover campus will be located at 5487 Stadium Trace Parkway, in the former location of Discovery United Methodist Church. We are excited for a new worshiping community with a new vision, new leadership, and new opportunities to serve.
As we prepare for a projected launch in mid- 2026, we are building something vibrant and welcoming that is designed to reflect Trinity’s heart while embracing the unique character of Hoover and its surrounding neighborhoods.

How You Can Be Part of This Story
Right now, the most important way to support this new campus is through prayer and openness to where God may be leading.
We invite you to pray:
• For the leadership guiding this season of growth
• For the future campus pastor and launch team
• For neighbors in Hoover who will one day call this campus home
In the months ahead, there will be opportunities to serve on launch teams, volunteer in ministries, and help form a seed community for Trinity Hoover.

Welcoming the Hinnen Family to Hoover
We are also excited to announce that Rev. Jack Hinnen will be joining our team as Campus Pastor for the upcoming Hoover campus, and we couldn’t be more excited about what this means for this new community and for Trinity as a whole. Along with Jack, we’re also welcoming Rev. Cheryl Hinnen, and their children, as they join Trinity in this next season of ministry.
Jack brings with him a deep love for the local church and meaningful experience helping launch new ministry communities. We are also grateful to celebrate Cheryl and the unique gifts for ministry that she will be bringing to this new campus. Cheryl previously served on Trinity’s outreach staff and is currently serving as Assistant Director and Associate Pastor at Bright Bridge Ministries. Together, Jack and Cheryl share a calling to ministry and leadership that shapes their work, their partnership, and their family.
This announcement marks an exciting milestone as we prepare for the launch of the Hoover campus. In the weeks ahead, we’ll be sharing more about what’s coming—what this new campus will look like, how it will serve the Hoover community, and how you can be part of bringing it to life. For now, we invite you to join us in celebrating this step forward and praying for Jack, Cheryl, and their family as they prepare for this new season.
