Join us for a special Maundy Thursday online service as we remember Jesus’ last supper. We hope your evening mealtime will become a special celebration of Holy Communion as we reflect together on Christ’s life-giving love. Be sure to have some bread and juice as part of your meal.
Get ready now by making sure you have some bread and juice on-hand. We also want to encourage you to bake your own bread using this Maundy Thursday Bread Recipe, crafted by Rev. Amy DeWitte. Or order your whole dinner from Tazikis Cafe (Mountain Brook: 205-870-0455). Jesus ordered the lamb, but you can choose anything from the menu. Tell them you’re with Trinity for a free hummus appetizer with your purchase. You also receive a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult entree. This offer works for dine-in or call-in orders (not online orders). Curbside pickup available!
Join us for this annual community tradition as clergy from several churches in our neighborhood lead a processional through Homewood reflecting on the last hours of Jesus’ life. We will process from Homewood Central Park and end at Homewood Presbyterian Church as we follow the cross, sing, and read scripture.
