What is a Care Team? A Care Team is a group of volunteers (10-12 per team) who work together to provide practical support to a church member with short-term personal and health care needs. Once the Care Friend is back on their feet, the team celebrates communion together and disbands. So it is a short term service commitment.
What does a Care Team do? A team’s activities may include transportation to the doctor or grocery store, household or yard chores, errands, meals, social outings, visits, phone calls, prayers, and relief for primary care givers. The motto is “Do what you can when you can.” This is a perfect place for busy people to serve.
