Lunch Bunch is back! We will dine at Bright Star restaurant (est. 1907). If the Bright Star isn’t enough to get you out of the house, we will also be touring the Bessemer Hall of History Museum. The museum houses a wide array of artifacts from the city’s history as a mining, steel making, and industrial center. The building also houses artifacts relating to the brief imprisonment of Martin Luther King Jr. in the city. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 as Southern Railway Terminal Station. Dutch treat lunch. Vans leave Trinity Oxmoor at 10:00 am, tour at 10:30 am, with lunch at 11:30 am.
