Hurricane Ian came through western Cuba to make landfall in Florida as a catastrophic category 4 storm on September 28, 2022. Whole cites and communities were devastated in Florida and the storm continued to bring heavy rain, wind and flooding up the east coast of the U.S., affecting numerous states. Luckily, Trinity partners with UMCOR when responding to a disasters around the globe. UMCOR works with the conference disaster response ministries to provide financial assistance, expertise, and networking with volunteers and local government.

There are two ways that we are asking for you to help:

2. You can also create an UMCOR Cleaning Kit. Instructions on the supplies needed and assembly can be found here. Sometimes creating individual buckets can be overwhelming, so we encourage you to make this a project for your Sunday school class or small group.
