Children’s Check-In

Every Sunday we have iPads located in our children’s areas that allow you to check your child in. You will receive a name tag for your child and a guardian tag for you.

First Time Guest?

We would love to meet your family and walk you to the appropriate classroom! If you return for a second visit, we will add your kids into our system so that you can begin checking them in and creating automated name tags for them.

You can also pre-register your kids ahead of time to use this security feature. Please complete this form linked below and allow for 5 days for us to process the request.

FAQ’s

Where do kids go during worship?

We want to give families options for worship on Sunday morning. Kids are welcome in every worship service. Kids’ presence in worship adds joy and spontaneity to our praise and they learn how to worship God by worshipping alongside their church family. Check out our worship resource area outside of each worship spaces to find fidgets, headphones, Bibles, books, and themed coloring sheets to help keep little fingers busy while their ears are open. We also know that some Sundays littles might prefer to build community through play, so our nursery is available for kids 6 and younger.

What should we wear?

Families range in attire from casual to button downs and dresses. We are less concerned with what you are wearing and more interested in how you are feeling every Sunday of the year!

I’d like my child to visit Sunday School or attend the nursery for the first time. What do I need to do?

There’s no need to pre-register or declare in advance that you’d like to visit us at Trinity. We have team members ready to greet you outside our Children’s Ministry space on the first floor every Sunday. We would love to meet your family and walk you to the appropriate classroom. If you return for a second visit, we will add your kids into our system so that you can begin checking them in and creating automated name tags for them.

Who are the adults that will be working with my child?

Our nursery staff is comprised of professionals that have been trained and undergone a background check in order to care for our youngest disciples. In our kids’ classrooms and small groups, our volunteers have undergone training and a background check, as well. You can expect to find two adults (staff or volunteer) in the room at all times to provide double the leadership, double the accountability, and double the fun. That’s part of our Safe Sanctuaries promise to families, so that parents can trust that their child will be safe in our care.

How do I have my child baptized?

Baptism is one of two sacraments celebrated in our church. A person can be baptized at any age, from birth to adulthood. Because baptism is a sacrament of the church, it is celebrated in worship so the church can mark and claim this person as their sibling in Christ. To schedule a baptism, please contact the church office.
